Puccio Orthodontics Welcomes Dr. Hussain
We are very excited to announce, that after more than 35 years of serving the communities, Puccio Orthodontics is expanding with the addition of Dr. S. Rassal Hussain. Dr. Hussain will be providing the same patient-centered care and technical expertise that you have come to know. He shares the same philosophy and dedication to providing the highest level of orthodontic care.
Just like Dr. Puccio, Dr. Hussain is from the Capital District. He grew up in Watervliet and graduated from Watervliet High School. He then went on to graduate Cum Laude from Union College with a Bachelor of Science degree, and then attended Tufts University School of Dental Medicine for his dental education. He then earned both a Master's degree and a specialty Certificate in Orthodontics from the University of Maryland School of Dentistry.
Dr. Hussain decided to return to the Capital District along with his wife and their young son to pursue his orthodontic career. They intend to raise their family here while serving the capital district communities. After looking around at several opportunities, Dr. Hussain decided that Puccio Orthodontics was the right fit for him, and we could not agree more! He is kind, understanding , and very well trained. Dr. Puccio and the entire Team at Puccio Orthodontics look forward to working with Dr. Hussain for years to come.

Puccio Orthodontics was founded in October of 1987, with the philosophy that "we treat you as if you were one of our family members". We develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and desires, in order to begin treatment at the ideal time for effectiveness and efficiency using the most advanced technology. We are always available if you have any questions or concerns.
Dr. Hussain believes in this same philosophy, but brings a different generational perspective with great excitement and insights for the future. In fact, his Master Thesis was a study of the "Generational Perspectives of Orthodontists in the US and Canada". Although his training encompassed all aspects of traditional orthodontics including orthognathic surgery and aligner therapy, he has a special interest in the application of digital technologies to contemporary orthodontic practice. This will allow us to provide more efficient, comfortable, and convenient treatment for our patients. We are very proud to have him join our team!
